Child arrangements documents are the court forms, statements, orders, and supporting records used when the court is asked to decide with whom a child lives, spends time, or otherwise has contact under the Children Act 1989.
What is this?
A child arrangements review usually looks at the application route, the existing family history, safeguarding material, and the evidence relied on to explain why a proposed living or contact arrangement is said to be in the child's best interests. The documents must support the welfare-based case actually being advanced.
